I have a Ranco Dehumidistat wired into my current HVAC system. I believe that it's simply a switch to control power to the thermostat based on humidity levels.
I'm replacing my old thermostat with a Google Nest learning thermostat.
Do I need to worry about this when setting up a 4 wire system on the Nest Learning?
Do I need to wire in the dehumidostat separately?
Here is my current wiring: https://ibb.co/1MFPK2T
My Dehumidistat: https://ibb.co/GsC1nQS
Discovered that the Nest thermostat has a feature in it that can use the AC as a dehumidifying tool, which is what I currently do.
I'm guessing I would need to disconnect/disable or turn off the current dehumidistat?
Any advice is appreciated.
