All wired correctly with G fan wire. Heat works as it should, cooling works as it should. Fan can be turned on via the timer. That being said. I have opted for the fan to come on every hour between 5:00am and 5:00pm. It's now 10:00am and the fan has not cycled in fan mode once. I've been hanging out at home nearby for 3 hours. The "mode" of the thermostat is set to heat/cool.
Does the fan mode only work when the mode is set separately to either heat or cool. I like the dual heat/cool mode as you don't have to mess with switching dor winter.
Just curious why the recirculating fan mode (even when set correctly) will only turn on when I set timer manually.
Also would be nice if it showed not only a/c cooling cycle time and heat cycle time but a daily "fan" cycle time in the energy dashboard. Not complaining just would like to have the information
Thanks in advance

Yes you have the fan come on from 5am-5pm but check to see how long the fan runs for each hr. You can set it for 1-60 min each hr. Hope this helps. Steve

Hi everyone,
I appreciate the input here, Steve.
Thanks for bringing this up here in the Google Nest community, @Sully27. Your fan will run automatically when your system is heating or cooling. For a fan schedule, have you seen Steve’s response? Also, I wanted to look deeper into this. Please answer the following:
I look forward to your response.
