Therm wasn’t communicating with furnace, so had someone on site do factory reset. I’m away but can have some present to walk through the set up with me on the phone, can I reconnect the thermostat to the app on my phone while I’m off site?

Thanks for checking it with us, and for being a step ahead of us. You have to be in front of your Nest Thermostat device for you to successfully set it up, as the devices need to communicate with each other for your thermostat to smoothly add in the app.
