Retrieval of Six Digit Code for Nest Thermostat

This is for someone from Google Support.  Is it at all possible to retrieve the original 6 digit code from Google.  As with many posters here in this forum, mine is not located on the physical device, nor is there a QR code.  I purchased the home and unfortunately, the original packaging and paperwork is long gone.  I cannot believe it is so difficult to retrieve this code.  My thermostat is set up and on my network and is working, but I'm attempting to do some updates within Google Home app and it seems this code is required.   It's a real pain.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with setting up your Nest Thermostat. It's unusual that it doesn't have a QR code. could you share a photo of the back of your Nest Thermostat display?
