Search results for Best is reading inside the house 90 degree while the house is cold around 70 degree, it started today the issue, tried to reset it but didn't change, still reading it wrongly

We're sorry to hear about your malfunctioning Nest! That's quite a temperature contrast and must be uncomfortable. Let's work together to get your thermostat working correctly.

Can you answer a few questions for me?
- Can you let me know if your thermostat was working properly prior to you reaching out to us?
- Are there any messages you're seeing on the thermostat's display or in the Google Home app?
- Are there any blinking/solid colored lights or symbols on the thermostat display?
- Are there any features that you're unable to access?
- Can you change the temperatures in any way?

In the meantime, please try to factory reset your device and see if that helps with more accurate temperature readings. If the problem still persists, please answer the above and let me know ASAP. We're happy to help!
