We have recently bought the newest Nest Learning thermostat - and seriously regretting it!
The whole thing was impossible to install, and we're still not really sure we have it right.
We set up a schedule which should come on to 19°C at 6am and then at 10.30am go down to 9°C, then a 4pm come up to 19° again, then down again at 11pm. But it just seems to turn itself on during the middle of the day and night, when we definitely don't want it on!
Can someone help? I have Eco turned off, and also Auto Schedule turned off in settings.
Thanks!

Hi dixiP,
Uh-oh! I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Learning thermostat changes temperature on its own and is not following your set of schedules. Follow the steps below and skip the ones you already did.
Let us know how it goes.
Best,
Zoe

thanks Zoe, do you mean settings on the App or on the Nest thermostat itself?
In any case, in neither option does the 'heat to' or 'cool to' temperatures come up when I get to Eco.
On the App, I can get to Eco by clicking on the front page, then Eco is one of 4 options along the bottom, and then the only option here is Start Eco.
On the Nest, if I go to Settings/Eco, it just says 'choose your Eco temperature". Should i be putting this right down to 9°?
I have reset the schedule on the thermostat, which seems to have deleted the schedule. So now I have put a new one in. I will see if it keeps to this schedule - but do let me know about the above, if I need to do something particular with the Eco setting.
Thanks

Hi there,
On your thermostat itself, make sure you turn to off both heat to and cool to temperatures, then proceed with the next steps.
Thanks,
