Scheduling thermostat to turn off, not changing temperature only

Hi everyone,

I've been using nest learning thermostat for some time.

I'm trying to schedule it. but in my house, we like to turn on and off thermostat rather than adjusting temperature.

(My house is 3 floors and have very different temperature in each floor. so changing temperature doesn't reflect true status of the temperature in each floor.)

So I'm trying to schedule thermostat to turn on or off in desired time rather than changing temperature. Is this possible?  (I can turn on with schedule. I just need to turn on, and schedule temperature and saw that it turns on, but not sure how i can turn it off, because it will just change temperature in schedule, not turning heat or cool off.)

Hi naimel,

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

You can turn off the Nest Thermostat with the use of the Google Home app, but we cannot include it in the temperature schedule.
