I found the new name for "screen on upon approach” in order to make it "Shabbos compatible," (Jewish observers are not allowed to turn on and off lights on Shabbat/ Saturday) Google calls it 'Farsight" ON=upon approach, OFF=Always off, "Always On is missing"
We are still waiting for the Always on option, I wish Google can add it, this would be beneficial not only for observers, now with Gen 4 better screens and showing outdoor temperature graphics on it. It is way nicer to always stay on.
P.S. I am aware Samsung Smart fridge adding Shabbat mode to accommodate religious observers.
