Hello.
I have a hot water baseboard boiler system with 3 zones. I have 3 Nest E thermostats, 1 for each zone.
I am getting the monthly Home Report, but unfortunately, the report shows 76 hours for the month of October as a sum of ALL 3 zones.
What I want and what I need is the hours for EACH zone independently.
Why sum the zones together? I can do the math myself to get the sum, but what I need is the zone hours for each each zone. I need this so I can see usage for each zone for efficiency tweaking and system improvements.
Can I request to have my monthly report provide me each thermostat hours instead of the useless hours total?
Thank you,
Dave

Nest combines zone usage in reports, but it doesn’t show individual thermostat hours. You can track each manually via the app or suggest this feature to Nest for better tracking.

You cannot track manually via the app as it only shows a 10 day history. And it is not summed up, nor is it downloadable. You mentioned, suggesting this feature to Nest - How would I do that?

Hi @dwtucker,
Thanks for bringing this concern to our attention and posting it in the community.
I understand you have some questions about checking your Nest Thermostat reports. Let me help you with that.
First, you need to ensure this option is enabled on your devices:
If you still can't see this option or access the reports, you may find this article helpful: Didn't receive Home reports
Please let me know how this goes so I can continue to assist you.
Thanks,
Catheryn

Hello, I am sorry but your response was no at all related to my post. My post was not about how to get the home report. As I stated, I already get the report. My question was about why is shows a total hours and not the individual hours from each thermostat?

Hello @dwtucker,
Thanks for your response and the additional information.
We understand the frustration you’re experiencing with the current limitations of our Nest app. We apologize that the app isn’t able to provide individual Home Reports for each thermostat at this time.
We hope to introduce individual thermostat Home Reports in a future update but in the meantime we appreciate your understanding.
Thank you,
Catheryn
