What are some actual occupancy/motion sensors that will work with the learning thermostat to detect occupancy? The main Google article just states motion sensors but Ive read that ADT motion sensors aren't compatible and seen no other actual sensors available.

Hi bryantdouglass,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Currently, Nest Thermostats may infer occupancy from detected motion for comfort optimization, and energy saving, and home automation (such as Home/Away Assist or Home & Away Routines). You can read more here in the sensors in Google Nest devices article.
Let us know if that helps.
Best,
Zoe

So you have to have a bunch of nest hubs everywhere lol sensor could have been put in with the temp sensor

Hi there,
I apologize if my previous response was unclear. It seems there might be some confusion. The Nest Thermostat does not require multiple Nest Hubs or additional sensors to function properly. The Nest Thermostat itself is designed to monitor and control the temperature in your home. It has built-in temperature sensors and does not rely on additional sensors for its core functionality.
The Nest Hub is a separate device that serves as a smart display and voice assistant. It is not a requirement for the Nest Thermostat to operate. The Nest Hub can provide additional features and integration with other smart devices, but it is not necessary for the basic operation of the Nest Thermostat.
If you have specific concerns or questions about your Nest Thermostat or how to optimize its performance, please feel free to provide more details, and I'll be happy to assist you further.
Thanks,
Zoe
