I’ve only had the above installed 32 months ago when o had my boiler replaced

The last few days  it keeps going offline.

Its in a stand and sits next to my router

There ar no issues with my internet connection.

I’ve reset the near and connected it back to the internet but this doesn’t seem to last long .

I’ve checked the battery levels and it has been as low as 3.5 and as high as 3.8 today .

What is the maximum it will reach and why does it keep dropping and then going offline

I wouldn’t expect to have to replace after only 30 months

thank you

I have the same issue...worked fine for 2 years.  It won't connect to app anymore.  Started two weeks ago.  I've cleared the app cache, removed the app several times, reset the thermostat to factory settings, removed google account. Nothing works.  Keep getting same error. TD009.  There's nothing on how to fix.

Hello folks,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns about your Nest Thermostat. I appreciate your detailed description of the problem.

Regarding the connectivity issue, where the thermostat is unable to add and keeps going offline despite being near the router and having a stable internet connection, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Ensure that the Wi-Fi signal strength at the thermostat location is strong. You may consider moving the thermostat closer to the router temporarily to see if the issue persists.
  2. Power cycle both your thermostat and router. Turn them off, wait for a minute, and then turn them back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.
  3. Uninstall the app from your phone, restart your device, and then reinstall the app. This can help clear any temporary glitches.
  4. Ensure that the app has the necessary permissions to access your phone's network and Bluetooth. Check both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings on your phone.
  5. If the issue persists, try performing an Account Connection reset on your thermostat to Reset settings. Then, proceed by reconnecting them manually to your Wi-Fi networks and adding them to the app.

If you have any further questions or concerns, let me know.

Best regards,
Mark
