- What type of thermostat do you have?
- Do you have a conventional or heat pump system?
- Conventional System: Typically consists of two pieces of equipment (furnace and AC).
- Heat Pump: Handles both heating and cooling with a single unit.
If you have a Nest Thermostat (2020) or a 4th generation Nest Learning Thermostat, you can use the Hold Temperature feature. This feature allows you to set a specific temperature, and your thermostat will maintain that temperature until you change it.
