I have radiant heat on the main floor of my house where I have the Nest Thermostat. I was told to "set it and forget it" since radiant heat does not like being adjusted all the time. Nest is always trying to decide what my thermostat temperature should be set at, but I don't want it to keep changing. If I had a different heating system, I wouldn't mind Nest tweaking the heat to save energy, but this isn't working! PLEASE tell me how to "set it and forget it"?

Hi, @Sally-in-VT!
Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you want to establish a fixed temperature on your thermostat and have it remain there until you actively change it. I’ll be happy to assist you!
The closest feature for your request that we have available is the "Hold temperature" feature. This option works with the Nest Thermostat or the Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen). Earlier versions of the Nest Learning Thermostat and the Nest Thermostat E don't have a dedicated 'hold' function but, you can still manually change the temperature, and the thermostat will learn from your adjustments.
