Setting up app through Wi-Fi

I am replacing a learning t'stat with another learning Stat for a friend.  She is out of town and needs her app setup for the new t'stat.  Is it possible to enter the entry key and code through the Wi-Fi?  If so, ho?  The stat is on her wifi in the house.

The Nest Learning Thermostat needs to be set up on your friend's Google Nest app while logged on with her credentials and while connected to her Wi-Fi network.
