i keep getting this error when I try voice controlling the house temperature.  It tells me I can fix this in assistant settings but I honestly don't see where.  My generation 2 worked with no issue at all though.

Hello @Will1978,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community. I'm sorry that you are having issues controlling the Nest Thermostat using the Google Assistant. I'll be more than glad to assist you. Before we start, I have some questions:

  1. Is the thermostat linked to your Google Home App, or are you only using the Nest App?
  2. Have you confirmed if the Nest Thermostat is connected to the network?
  3. Do you have the same issue with another command?

I’ll be waiting for your reply.

Regards,

Derick.

Hi @Will1978 !

Thanks for your reply. Have you tried to remove the thermostat from your account and re-add it? Another thing that you can try is to be more specific at the moment to request an action using the Assistant.

I’ll be waiting for your reply.

Regards,

Derick.
