Hallo,
as you can see in the attached picture of the Cronology of my Nest Thermostat, I would like to ask if there's a solution to this continue "START and STOP" of my Pellet Boiler.
This situation is not really good:
So, I suggest to change or modify the algotithm that starts and stops the boiler when a PELLET boiler is selected in the configuration.
Too many actions during the day is a big risk.
Just to give you an example and a comment to the picture: "dom 20" (sunday 20) I used 35Kg of pellet for more or less 10 hours of total activity of the boiler.
"Ven 18" (friday 18) I used 20Kg of pellet for 16 hours of activity.
During the startup of a pellet boiler, the consumption of pellet itself and energy is really big and the risk is also to broke the element that burns the pellet.
Please, try to solve, this is a really critical situation.
Many Thanks.
I would remind that also resolution of the °C in the display and in the APP must be more accurated, the same must be done the setting of temperature and also the Hysteresis.
Thanks again.

Same over here. We had an E version that worked perfectly for 4 years with our gas furnace. All of a suddenly it started to do this ON and OFF thing. We contacted Google many times, did everything they asked to no avail. We decided to get a new learning version, and we're still having the same problem. Furnace tech came and everything is perfect. I don't know what update they did to mess things up like this but I've had it.

I hope someone will analize this situation and think about a solution.
In this case I necessarily need to switch off my NEST THERMOSTAT, otherwise I will broke my pellet boiler.
I'm really sad, because I put in evidence several problems that would be solved with a new software, but nothing was done.
In this case my boiler switches off, perform the autocleaning procedures (around 10 minutes) and than switches on again...all the day...
That's crazy!!!
I remember also to the programmers more accuracy also in the displayed temperature, realtime temperature and temperature set too, because decimal points are rounded to 0,5°C (in the thermostat and in the APP) and it also increases the pellet consumption.
And also the Hysteresis must be changed by user.
So, please, take care and try to solve those really big problems to avoid the risk of a damaged boiler.
I'm sorry, I know I opened several posts about those arguments, but I'm really sad because no one took care about the problems.
Thanks again.

Hi @Ryan_G , nope problem still persists.

Thanks Ryan_G for your interest.
Unfortunately my question is everytime the same.
You probably can lock the argument but no actions were made to solve my problem.
To tell you the truth I started a similar question more then one year ago, but nothing changed.
It seems that no actions were made and no solution provided for my issue.
So, I'm really sorry but I'm going to think for another solution, that means another product.
Consumption is increased (pellet and energy to startup the boiler) with this thermostat and also the possibility to damage my boiler are higher.
Community is alive (and I'm really enthusiastic for that), but I can't find any solution to my problem.
So, it's up to you.
If you want to close it, you can do it.
Probably I will open another ticket, but I must find another solution.
Thanks for your kind interest and best regards.
