Substitute for Nest Thermostat?

Poly

Given the rampant issues with the Nest thermostats and seemingly bad customer service I gather from the forums it’s not worth the time and trouble to attempt to troubleshoot the issue of it no longer being able to detect networks. We’ve only had it a couple of months so we’re going to see if we can just return to the store. Looking for suggestions for a comparable replacement that can handle a multi stage heat pump. Thanks!

Hi Poly,

Thanks for reaching out — I'm sorry for the delay and for the trouble this may have caused you. I suggest getting a Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Generation, as it can handle a multi stage heat pump. Also, you can visit this link for more information.

Best,

Jenelyn

We already have the newest Nest thermostat and it was working fine until it lost ability to detect networks. Waiting for replacement and we’ll be returning the defective unit.

We replaced the Nest with an Ecobee and that is working perfectly well with our system and network. Thanks.
