How dare you make such a blatant money grab to deactivate the Nest thermostat remote activities through Google Home and Nest app. My thermostat has functioned flawlessly for close to 10yrs and I was hoping for another 10 but now with your greedy maneuver I will be looking for another smart thermostat. I suspect that Google will apply this approach to other smart products as time goes on destroying any semblance of customer loyalty. I will look to products manufactured by other suppliers who value their relationship with their longstanding customers.
