Temp sets to 78 on its own (3rd gen nest thermostat)

My thermostat seems to set its self to a high temperature to heat even though I have every auto option off and the device locked. This is costing me hundreds of dollars in heating costs. Help!

How long has this been occurring? Also just curious, but did your thermostat recently update to 6.3-5? I've been experiencing issues (not the same as yours) since the update, and I've been reading some forums stating some 3rd Gen learning thermostats have been acting "wild" and some have also been bricked.
