Heat on my thermostat has worked fine when I transferred from Honeywell to Nest, but When i switch to cool mode the Air conditioner works but it still activates the blower on my Furnace.  How do I avoid this?

Hi @confused1011

It sounds like your Nest thermostat might be configured incorrectly for your HVAC system. Here are some steps you can try to prevent the blower from activating when using cool mode:

Check Nest Thermostat Settings:

  • Open the Google Home app and navigate to your Nest thermostat settings.
  • Look for options related to "System" or "Fan Settings."
  • Make sure the fan mode is set to "Auto" or "On with Cool" (depending on your model). Avoid options like "On" or "Circulate" which continuously run the blower.

Here's an article that can help you with more advanced fan control options for your Nest thermostat: Fan control with a Nest thermostat

Please try these steps and let us know if the issue is resolved.

All the best,

Josh
