Hi all,
I have a learning thermostat that was working fine - due to renovations and the summer months it has been disconnected for a while (and since we have changed WiFi provider as well). It is plugged into the wall via a USB cable and when plugged in, it initially blinks red, then green. Even after being left for an hour or two, it continues to blink green. After that, I have tried holding the screen down to restart it and it simply goes back to blinking red, then green.
As it has no connectivity to the WiFi, there's not a lot I can do with it remotely, but it won't even turn on to let me put it back on the WiFi. My theory is that it is caught in a loop of turning on > trying to update > failing to update.
Any ideas on what I can do? It feels like it needs some sort of factory reset so that I can set it up from scratch, but I have no idea how I can do that without access to the menu on the thermostat.
Thanks
Ryan
