Hi Mizzen,

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'd like to take a closer look at it. Do you happen to know if you have a heat pump system? If so, could you please provide the photo of the wires connected to your system's control board? Ensure that the labels of the wires are visible. It will help us to check your system compatibility and wiring configuration to the Nest Thermostats

Best,

Jenelyn

Hi there,

Thanks for providing the link for the photo. Could you please take another photo of it? This time, focus it on the 6 wires at the bottom part of your control board. Ensure that the labels are visible as well.

Kind regards,

Jenelyn

Hello Mizzen,

Thanks for posting here in the Community. Based on the photos of the wires from your current thermostat, this is a heat pump system. This should be compatible with of Nest Learning Thermostat.

The correct wiring configuration for that in the Nest thermostat is:

1. Yellow wire on Y or Y1
2. Red wire on R or RH/RC
3. Green wire on G
4. White wire on W or W1
5. Blue wire on C
6. Orange wire on O/B
7. Black wire on W2

Take note S1 and S2 wires are sensors to provide temperature outside and since Nest uses Wifi connection to get its outside temperature no need to connect it.

Thanks for the help, @Jenelyn.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks,
Edmond
