Thermostat dies in about 1 week

Thermostat needs to be charged weekly. Is this right.

You need a c-wire. Plenty of vids on youtube showing different applications.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. The Nest Thermostat isn't supposed to encounter low battery issues frequently for you to charge it every week. I'd like to know more about it. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. Do you see any messages or codes on your thermostat or in the app? Please provide your thermostat power readout.

You can follow this guide:

1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Look for Technical Info.
4. Select Power.
