Thermostat gets added to incorrect Home in Google home app

Tried installing twice, once on the thermostat, entered the correct postal code for the house. It added to my other home. Looked in settings, it changed the postal code to that house, not the one I have it installed.

Tried installing via app, same issue, doesn't ask me what home to add it to in Google home, Google home will not let me move the device, says I'll need to factory reset.

Hey Sector7g,

Thank you for posting here.

Sad to say that we'll need to do a factory data reset on your Nest Thermostat. Once done, go back to the Google Home app and create a new Home. Once you have a new home, make sure it is the one selected in the app before doing the setup of your Nest Thermostat.

Let me know how it goes by replying to this thread.

Regards,

Ryan
