Thermostat has the wrong location

VegasDon
Community Member

It's 79 degrees outside but my thermostat shows 39 and raining.  Google says to check the location on the thermostat settings but there is no option for location. The location on the app is correct  The app has the correct address, but it is wrong on the thermostat itself.  On the thermostat, I go to settings, and there is NO setting to change the location.

Hi VegasDon,

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

We'd like to check a couple of things for us to further isolate the issue. Which Nest thermostat are you using? Are you using the Google Home app or the Nest app? Is your thermostat connected to your Wi-Fi?

Also, check this link for a complete guide on how to check the location settings.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,

Ryan

Hey VegasDon,

Thanks for your reply.

Have you tried to restart or reset your Nest Learning thermostat? Also, did you try to log in to the Nest app on a different mobile device?

Let us know how it goes by replying to this thread.

Best regards,

Ryan

Checking back in — how's it going with your thermostat now? Have you had the chance to try the suggestions above?
