Thermostat will not stay cool

The cool air will not blow continuously. The air stops on its own then says “starts in 2:30” then the cool air begins to blow again for 30 seconds then stops again and starts the countdown. Please help!

1. Which Nest thermostat do you have? (In this link you can know how to identify your thermostat)
2. Do you have a C wire connected to your thermostat?
3. Are you able to share a photo of the wiring your thermostat has?
4. When was it installed?
5. Who did the installation?

Based on the information in your post, it looks like there is not enough energy for your thermostat. However, it is too soon to confirm it, checking your thermostat’s energy history can give us a better idea and help you further so please check your energy history in your app or the thermostat. Here are the steps you need to take to get this information.
