Thermostat won’t cooll

Anyone familiar with Nest thermostats? After the power outage, the temperature is set for cool air but the air coming out from the vent is warm.
Reset didn’t fix.

Hi KT08,

Thanks for posting and sorry to read about this situation with the cooling. Help's here! Let's check the power readings after the power outage. Your system might not be getting enough power to cool properly. Here's how to find the power readings:

  1. Press the thermostat ring to bring up the Quick View menu.
  2. Turn the ring to the Settings Nest settings icon and press to select.
  3. Turn the ring to Technical Info and press to select.
  4. Check the following readings:
  • Battery:  The voltage will fluctuate, but it should be higher than 3.6V when it’s charging normally.
  • Nest Thermostat with or without C wire: Voc: 29 to 42V  Vin: 29 to 42V lin: 200 to 385 mA
  • Nest Learning Thermostat/E with C wire: Voc: 29 to 42V Vin: 29 to 42V lin: 100 to 200 mA
  • Nest Learning Thermostat/E without C wire or with Power Connector: Voc: 29 to 42V Vin: 29 to 42V lin: 20 to 40 mA

Let me know your results.

Regards,

Axel.
