Trane heat pump model 4TWB3024A1 compatible with Nest thermostat

Wondering if my Trane split system heat pump model 4TWB3024A1 is compatible with the Nest thermostat?  The wiring doesn't match.  I contacted Google support, and they say it isn't compatible, but the Nest learning thermostat was, but didn't sound too sure.  Can someone help confirm before I return this one and order the learning thermostat?
