I've had this Google thermostat for more than two years.
In the early stages I overlooked some problems, considering them youthful errors, but more than two years later this situation is no longer acceptable.
I wrote on your forums, I contacted support several times, but in the end nothing changed.
This is the last resort, after which I will be forced to remove it.
These are the thermostat problems:
Poor resolution of the temperature measurement on the display.
This means that if I wanted to know the real temperature, I can't do it from the display.
I understand that I can go and see the actual temperature between the sensors, but it doesn't seem intuitive at all, I want to see the temperature in real time on a thermostat.
Poor resolution of the temperature SET on the display.
The same goes for temperature resolution, it's all too approximate.
This means that I can't set a precise SET on the start of my system, it's all too approximate.
Often looking at the thermostat display and opening the APP at the same time, I find differences both in temperature and on the set.
I have tried to update several times but the measurements are almost never the same.
The possibility of setting a hysteresis between the intervention temperature and the release temperature (when the thermostat starts and when it stops because it has reached the temperature) would be appreciated.
This is because it often happens that the thermostat makes the boiler disconnect and connect too quickly, it is a continuous "disconnect and connect" which, in addition to being an increase in consumption costs, risks damaging the boiler due to these continuous starts and stop.
A thermostat cannot be set with a resolution of 0.5°C,
The resolution of the thermostat must be 0.1°C and its graphic representation must be more visible and understandable.
The display representation is not very functional.
A temperature scale without references is just nice to look at, but for those who have to set a temperature it is not very functional.
The possibility of seeing the signal level between the thermostat and the Heat Link would be appreciated in order to be able to find the best position without risking finding it disconnected after a few days.
It is the most expensive thermostat of the existing ones in circulation, it would be appropriate to sell a more functional product.
