I currently have 2 nest thermostats setup in my house and I was attempting to add a Third One today. I am replacing a Honeywell thermostat and trying to add a new Nest one. This new one has is brand new out of the box. I have followed all the on screen instructions. I have the wires in the correct slot (R, W and C) and when it gets to the point where I turn the power back on and then try to connect the device it spins and spins. I look in my bluetooth on my phone and it shows the nest thermostat connected, but then after a period of time the Google Home App says it was not able to connect the device.
I have turned off all other bluetooth devices
I have restarted my bluetooth on my phone and I have restarted my phone
I have made sure the wires are in the correct slot. Pulled them out and reset them in (5 times)
I have setup a new Home in the home app and tried adding it under that new home
All of the above I have tried and yet it still never adds the device. Again (when I try adding it, it see it in my bluetooth settings and it says connected, but eventually disconnects once the app says it is unable to add it)
I dont get any error messages on the device itself.
Again, I already have 2 others setup in the house and they are working just fine.
I am at a loss here as I don't think it is possible for this one to be added. It seems like it has to be the device itself.

Have you verified that your phone is connected to the same WiFI as your other Nest Products?
Do you have multiple HVAC systems installed or just one with a Zone controller?
If you do have a Zone controller, can you post a picture of it and its wiring here?

I do have a zone controller. What wiring are you specifically looking for. The problem is there are 3 zones, 2 of them already have the Nest connected so I don't see why it would be an issue the connect the third of they all have the same wiring.
As for phone connected to the same wifi, the problem is the Nest isn't connected because this is the initial setup and it won't do the initial setup. I can't even get to the point to where I select the wifi network for the nest device.
On a side not, can I just move one of the existing next devices to this zone? And then try to connect the one that is not working to a different one, or do I have to reset the one that is working before I move it?
