Upgrade from Honeywell T5 to Nest Learning Thermostat ( Current Gen)

Going to be upgrading from the T5 Honeywell to the latest Nest unit. We have a gas furnace and central Air.  I haven’t looked at the wires yet but I recall the original tech saying the c wire wasn’t? at the thermostat connection.  Does that mean it should be pretty plug and play to make the switch?

you will probably need a C wire adapter kit because the 2 transformers have to be grounded together

I can’t figure out how to attach the picture of the setup. I don’t need one for the t5.  The C was connected in the panel from what I can tell

Thank you.  No adapter was needed. It’s connected and working.  Thank you for the responses.
