Viewing thermostat on android device

Hello. New to Nest. New home with 2 Nest 4th gen thermostats. I got them connected to my wifi. When I set them up I saw both displayed on my android. The next day,  I cannot. My nest only shows home and away. Any suggestions?

Hi @CraigB1445,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you're not able to see your Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) devices in the app after you set them up. I'm happy to help.

Since you mentioned you have 2 Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) devices, can you please confirm if this is happening in the Google Home app, not the Nest app?

Previous Nest thermostat models must be set up and controlled via the Nest app, whereas only the Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) and Nest Thermostat (2020) can be set up and managed through the Google Home app.

In case you're using the Google Home app, please make sure you have selected the correct home structure where you may have set up your Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) devices. You can confirm this information by following the steps below:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Favorites > The name of the current home.
  3. Select a different home from the list.
Note: If the dropdown icon doesn’t appear when you select a new home, it means that you only have one home registered in the Google Home app.

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Regards,

Anders
