I have a Nest thermostat, basic version. Software version 1.1-9. I can set the HVAC fan to run for up to 12 hours. Why can't I set the fan to run continuously like I did with my prior 15 year-old thermostat?

I also have this problem. I just got a brand new Nest thermostat and I want the fan to run continuously to keep the air moving in our house, there is no option to do so. Did anyone ever find a solution or work around for this?

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I just installed mine, and I can't figure it out.
Thanks

Yes, I did finally find a solution. In the Google Home app, open the thermostat in question. Tap Settings (gear icon) and then schedules. From the drop down below the word schedules, choose fan instead of temperature. You can then set the fan to run 24 hours/day, 7 days/week in the fan schedule.

Tap on your thermostat in the app first, then tap the settings gear.

I am an asthmatic and have severe allergies and it's important for the fan to continuously run with the HEPA filter Merv 13 plus carbon to keep air clean 24 hours a day. Where can I switch for the fan to run continuously?
