Hello Benifoo,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.

I'm glad to hear that you're looking to integrate your existing thermostat with the Nest Learning Thermostat. Compatibility between the two largely depends on the availability and compatibility of the wires you have.

Here's a quick breakdown of the wire connections you mentioned:

  • L: This is usually the live wire.
  • N: Represents the neutral wire.
  • Hi, Me, Lo: These could be high, medium, and low speed settings for a fan or similar device.
  • Ext. L: Possibly an external live wire.
  • C/H A01: This might be related to heating or cooling functions.
  • G: Generally, this stands for the fan wire.
  • RS: It could be related to a reset function.
  • ESI: Not commonly used, might need further identification.

With your current configuration, it's not Nest Thermostat compatible. But I'd suggest reaching out to a professional installer to ensure a seamless integration.

Let us know if you have more questions.

Best regards,
Mark
