Wiring compatibility check

Need to check if trane heat pump is wired correctly.

I understand you'd like a second opinion on the way you've wired your Nest thermostat to your heat pump. I'm here to help!

 

Can you please let me know which wires were connected to your original thermostat, as well as how you've wired your Nest thermostat? A photo of the current and previous wiring could be helpful as well, so we can take a closer look at how they were inserted in the terminals.

 

Do you have your HVAC equipment make and model handy? That way, I can check more details about it and determine if there might be something we might need to consider when wiring your thermostat.

Thanks for your help.  I have 2 systems in the house, so I will add 2 sets of pictures.  Here is the first.  This is a Trane TEM6A0D48H41:

Please note that there is a black "loop back" wire on the old thermostat between W2 & W1.  It doesn't show well in the picture.
