honeywell to nest wiring help

 Im trying to convert this honeywell to a 1st gen nest. The heat pump is not coming on, but will right away with the honeywell. Where should the wires go?

The Google Nest Thermostat (2020) is not 100% compatible with your original thermostat. Only the 3rd and 4th Gen Learning Thermostats are 100% compatible.

Your system heat pump valve uses the B mode (cool) instead of the default O mode (heat). When the App asks you to select which wires you have you should select these wires.

AUX, Y/Y1, G/G1, R, B, and C

The Nest should be wired like this

Orange - E (tape off)

White - AUX to W (set as AUX heat)

Yellow - Y to Y

Green - G to G

Red - R to R

Gray - B to */OB

Black - C to C
