nest started to give e102 error and no heat

i nest(model A0013) has been running alright for 2 years, and it suddenly stopped working few days ago, with an E102 error code, and says "your thermostat has detected a problem with the w1 wire", the wire looks fine to me (and the unit has been running alright for the last two years), I googled and it seems that are some users having similar problem?

Hi gongym,

Thanks for reaching out here in Community forum, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. Let's sort this out.

E102 means an overcurrent error was detected by your Nest Thermostat. May I ask what type of Nest thermostat you have, was there any recent change on the wires connected on the Nest Thermostat base, and was there a recent power outage, power surge, or work on your electrical system?

I'll look forward to your response.

Best,

Zoe
