nest wiring 2rd gen to nest

I bought  a Google Nest Thermostat Sand  thermostat and I have a nest gen 2

I have two wires   marked  RH and  W1

I thought this nest would be an even switch   I have a  oil-fired hot water system no A/C

Any thoughts about it

the walk thru says I need the power connector does not make sense to me

@johnnydec1960

Are you sure you purchased a 2nd Gen Learning Thermostat? They have been out of production for several years, and support for the 2nd Gen Learning thermostat will end on October 25, 2025.

Support changes to our earliest generation Nest Learning Thermostats

How to tell which Nest thermostat you have
