I have the Google Home app and then also an electric floor that is controlled by a SunTouch SunStat thermostat. The thermostat is the wifi model and I can see and control it through the Watts Home app without any issues.
However, from the documentation it sounds like that device should work in Google Home by way of the 'Set up a device' > 'Works with Google' flow in Google Home. I can search for - and find - "Watts Home" listed on the screen which follows, but once I choose it I'm brought to an error page where the message, "You do not have permission to view this directory or page," displays - it looks like it's trying to render some content from microsoftonline.com? I'm guessing it's trying to give me a login page for the Watts Home app, but failing. And I expect anyone can try the sequence I mentioned and get the error (regardless of whether you have a Watts device or not).
I'm curious if anyone else has hit this before? And if you've been able to resolve it and can share what you did that would be amazing.
Lastly, I do have a pretty old model phone - a 1st Generation iPhone SE - though given the error I see I'd be surprised if that's relevant.

Hi mfelzani,
Thanks for reaching out and for providing detailed information on your issue — these are of great help!
Is the Google Home app version updated? You can go to the app store and check if it needs an update. If you are still getting the same message after the update you can uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app. Using another phone will also help us to further isolate the issue.
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Juni

Hi @Juni - thanks for the note back. In the Google Home app on my phone I click on my profile picture > Home app settings > App info and that says it's version 2.63.110. In the AppStore it looks like that's the latest version and was released ~2 weeks ago. I should say, I do have a pretty old phone (iPhone SE - 1st Generation) so I'll give it a shot from one of the kids' devices - which are much newer - in a little bit.
That said, do you get the same error I get? Since it comes even before I can log in to the Watts site anyone should be able to test it out so if you have Google Home on your device I'm curious what happens for you. I mean, if you follow the steps I detailed in my original post do you get an error when trying to add Watts Home?

Hi @Juni - I tried on my son's iPhone 11 and got same error. Please give it a shot on your side and let me know if you get the error? If not I'll definitely give an uninstall/reinstall a shot. Thanks!

@Juni ... as you can see from the thread a few folks are having this issue. did you have a chance to try to reproduce it? if not, i think there's enough folks with the issue to warrant creating a defect - could you do that for us?

Hi folks,
Got it. We're sorry for the delay. The partner themselves manages the URL portal used to link partners in the Google Home app. Issues encountered when linking a partner should be directed to that home automation partner for support. Partners are expected to support the integration of their products with Google Nest and Home devices. Has anyone tried contacting them for support?
I look forward to your response.
Thanks,
Juni

Hi @Juni , I'm not really sure what to say here. Someone fixed something as I'm now able to sign in to Watts through Google Home, but ever after I get the "the account has been linked" message (or whatever) I don't see the SunTouch thermostat listed.
Technically I guess it's a separate problem.
CC: @wattson , @Pgflexx , @JMPLA06 - I imagine you can sign in to Watts now, but I don't think you'll be able to see/control the thermostat via Google Home (at least I can't).

Is there a fix to the problem? Why would you lock?

I am experiencing the same error message. I have a Galaxy s21 ultra and my Google home is up to date. I recently moved and have been installing/linking many smart devices with Google home, but I'm unable to link watts.
