theremostat works fine on Android but ios claims thermostat is not fully set up

I have my thermostat working ok on my phone on android. I tried to add a family member, and her iOS device shows the error message "Your thermostat wasn't fully set up". Which isn't true - it is fully set up on my android device, and working fine - I can set the temperature, I have it programmed for various temperatures throughout the week, etc. How can I share my functioning device through the home app?
Here are the steps I have tried:
- reboot iOS device
- delete and reinstall Home App from iOS device
- restart thermostat

Hey there,

I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. I found an article with more details on how to share access to your device. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

Best regards,
Jake

No, the article does not answer my question. And yes I am still having this issue.

Hey there,

I wanted to follow up with you. You can add another user to your home by following the steps here.

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Switch to the home you want to share.
  3. At the top, tap add, then invite home member, Invite person.
    • If you don't find "Invite home member," tap add person to home.
  4. Enter the name or email address of the person you want to invite to your home, tap Next.

Best regards,

Jake
