So i have had my 1 google nest router when i first moved in, now 3 months later im tired of my living room having poor connection. so i went and bought a second wi-fi router from best buy (the $100 one AC1200 to be exact).

Im not understanding why its asking me to connect a ethernet cable into my router on the 2nd one? I thought the 2nd one was supposed to be wirelessly connected. did i buy the wrong one? its becoming frustrating because i dont wanna move my gaming setup into the closet :/.

thanks ahead of time!

Hi,

Have you tried the interactive troubleshooter in  the Google Nest Help page?  Here is the link : Fix your Google Nest Wifi or Google Wifi network - https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/13151717?hl=en.

I hope this one can help.

Best Regards,

angelee

Hello everyone,

@angelee, I appreciate you helping out here.

@legendswann, thanks for reaching out. I want to check if you were able to try the steps in the link provided above. If not, please try using another phone to get your Google Nest Wifi devices added to your mesh network.

Sincerely,
Lovely
