Months ago, I set up a google router with two wifi points. For whatever reason, I chose not to set up the Google Assistant originally.
Recently, we lost power. I was forced to re-connect one of the wifi points. This time, I went through the process of activating the Google Assistant.
Now, I would like to add this function to the other wifi point and router (in two different rooms). I cannot figure out how to add that functionality to these devices that were previously set up.
Do I need to reset those devices to do so? I'm hoping there is a simpler way of adding this function without starting over.

Thanks. Your post made me realize that my units don’t even have a mic! I forgot what I purchased but I guess those particular units simply do not have smart speaker capability.

Does it make no difference to switch the physical microphone button on/ off? Does it not react to "OK Google" if on?
I've done some searching, but haven't found a way to disable or enable the assistant other than that physical switch.
