Community Member

i use portforwarding succesfully on nest wifi router. However, i would like to whitelist just 1 ip number from WAN or ddns name from WAN to be able to use the portforwarding functionality

That's not possible with Google Nest Wifi.

If that's a dealbreaker you'll probably be better off getting a different, more advanced network solution: I don't think Google will add such functionality to a simple home mesh networking system. If you want to request this to be added to Nest Wifi the way to do it currently is sending it as feedback in the Google Home app.

I don't work for Google.

In addition to the information provided by @olavrb (which I agree with completely), I just wanted to add that you may be able to use some filtering rules on the device this inbound port is mapped to to restrict which external IP addresses can connect.
