Bridged point dropping; network goes offline repeatedly

TouchOfGray

Setup: Router and wired/bridged point.

Addt’l setup details:  Assigned permanent IP addresses to connected smart devices; use Google’s iPv6 DNS service. Spectrum 300+ connection.

Issue: While traveling over holiday, network repeatedly reports “issue with [bridged] point”.  Alternatively, entire network would go offline. Have neighbor reboot network for me by unplugging router.

Hi @TouchOfGray,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Google Routers getting disconnected from your network. I understand how frustrating this can be. I'm here to help.

If you are having issues with the setup of your Google Nest Routers, you'll need to reset your Google Nest Router and any connected access points. This usually involves a factory reset followed by a new setup process within the Google Home app. Please try the below steps:

Regarding the questions about how to enable IPv6 on Google routers, I leave you the article so you can know everything about how to activate it.

Let me know how it goes and keep me posted.

Best regards,

Derick.
