Cameras are not connecting to the WiFi.

Since this is a community forum, you'll need to provide some details on which cameras you have and exactly what you've tried in order to get help from the rest of us in this forum.

To contact Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

  • What type of Nest Camera do you have?
  • When did the issue first occur?
  • Has the device been paired before?
  • How far have you gotten in pairing your device?
  • Are there any other devices that experience issues with the Wi-Fi?

Hello. I'm having the same problem right now with my 2 ADT nest cameras not being able to reconnect after changing wifi password 2 days ago and those cameras are very needed right now. 

 

I restarted  Wi-Fi network more than once, checked firmware updates, moved them closer to router and unplugged anything using wifi that would interfere with setup. I  removed 1 camera and now can't add it back without connecting back to my wifi network 

 

Yesterday I finally installed ADT Nest doorbell and thankfully it connected to WiFi  and good to go but not my important ones, 

is the Google nest Outdoor/indoor battery model G3AL9 SKU GA01317-US & the other one is a  Google Nest Cam Indoor wired 2nd gen, model GJQ9T SKU-GA01998-US which watches entrie points protecting home after robbery months ago and got them through ADT security

  • What application do you use to set up your cameras?
  • Are you getting any error codes during the setup process?
  • Are there any other devices that experience issues with the Wi-Fi?
  • How far is the device from the router?
