Can no longer see devices connected to wifi

I get something went wrong when I search for devices connected to my wifi.  Multiple phones and PCs and smart devices are connected.

Perhaps related, I am trying to install a Nest 3rd gen learning thermostat and it fails.  It cannot see the wifi network and failed to connect even when manually plug in network name and password.

Hi @MrMeHiker,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you're having issues when searching for devices connected to your Wi-Fi network, which shows a "something went wrong" message. I appreciate the information you provided about trying to install your Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen, which is not finding the Wi-Fi network. I'm happy to assist you.

To determine the reason for this, please provide the information requested below:

  • What is the model of your Wi-Fi device or devices, and how many points do you have?
  • Do you have internet access on your devices connected to your Wi-Fi network?
  • Have you made any recent changes on your Wi-Fi network?
  • Are you trying to search for your devices connected to your Wi-Fi network through the Google Home app?
  • Is this the first time you've tried to set up your Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen?

Please keep me posted.

Regards,

Anders
