I upgrade my google points system to a google pro and the wifi is better. I had to reinstall all the lights and other devices because he network name changed.
I am unable after over 20 attempts to get either of my nest indoor cameras installed.
I've unplugged them for many minutes (up to 10). I've restarted router. I've moved closer to the router. I've left the phone under the camera during setup.. .ALWAYS "Try moving closer to your Next Cam"... Instructions say wait for 'blu light'. There is only white and green. The internet says green is right, but I don't know. No reset button and docs say just remove from Home and unplug.. and yet that clearly does not work.
Very frustrated at this point> Thousands of dollars into google home system and now we can't even use our cameras with the new wifi system.

If you change your Wi-Fi network, you'll have to do a factory reset on the 2nd one Google Nest Indoor Camera to clear the previous Wi-Fi settings, and then reinstall the camera). See the "Factory reset" instructions (not the "Restart" instruction) in this Help topic:

You can also see Google Nest's instructions for updating cameras with a new Wi-Fi setting. It's cumbersome; that's why their first recommendation is to use the same network name (SSID) and password on your new router/modem that you used on your old router/modem.

The instructions in those links DO NOT WORK. If you are reading this you need to find the tiny pin hole behind the camera and insert a paperclip for several seconds until you see the light flash and eventually turn blue. Then the device is reset and you can reconnect. GOOGLE please update your docs for the more recent cameras.
to clarify these instructions wil NOT reset your nest camarea indoor wired.

Sigh. That's because those are the "Restart" instructions.
In my post, I said "See the 'Factory reset' instructions (not the 'Restart' instruction)."
You have to scroll down to get to the "Factory reset" instructions. I don't know why Google Nest posts both instructions in the same Help topic; it seems customers often use the "Restart" instructions inadvertently.
