I have been using 2 Google Nest Wifi Pros (one as router, one as access point) without issue for ~2 months now. However, yesterday my access point was having connectivity issues, which led to me restarting and ultimately having to set it up from scratch again. When I attempt to add it back to my mesh network, I get the following error:
errors resolving googlehomefoyer-pa.googleapis.com:433:[field:hostname lookup error:address lookup failed for googlehomefoyer-pa.googleapis.com.:errorcode: -65568]
I have tried the following to resolve this issue without any successful result:
Any input and/or advice on this issue is greatly appreciated.
Update: So I originally factory reset my access point through the Google Home app, but I never attempted to factory reset it using the physical button underneath it. Doing that and then setting up the device again worked. Hopefully this helps someone else in the future.
