Chromecast is on a different network?? google wifi mesh

So i have google wifi setup with mesh.   3 pods, the main one hardwired into my router.

router is set to ippassthrough.

everything is added to google home.  my problem is i cannot connect to some of the chromecasts i have added.

if i cast say on youtube, it finds none of them or sometimes all of them.

if i try to connect to them in the home app. it tries then tells me im on a different network.

how do i overcome this issue?  i cannot control which wifi spot my phone connects too. nor do i know which wifi spot the chromecasts connect to when i set them up.  shouldnt the mesh overcome this on its own?

please advise, this is driving me crazy.

Hey, drewlamo66.
Sorry for the late response here, but I wanted to check in to see if you were still having this issue and to see if you have done any additional troubleshooting so far. If you still need help, let me know and I'll be happy to work on this with you.
Thanks.

i did figure it out.

my router has ip-passthrough mode and decides on its own to revert to a normal router.

i tried keeping the same SSID which would then start broadcasting from said router.

i have since fixed the problem by changing the SSID on google wifi.

ty for responding!
