Epson ET-2700 connection to Nest

Paul1963

Hi,

I've just installed my Nest WI-FI bit but can't work out how to install my Epson ET-2700 on the network.

The manual says it has :-

""WPA2-PSK (AES); complies with WPA2 with support for WPA/WPA2 Personal"
so I think it is compatible.

Can someone provide advice please?

Paul.

It might be due to how Nest Wifi combines 2.4ghz and 5ghz in a single SSID:

Check with Epson if it supports this.

Alternative is to use an old router or a cheap access point to broadcast a 2.4ghz network only for devices like this to connect to. Or if the printer can be connected with ethernet cable, that's an option too.

I don't work for Google.

Thanks.

I've ended up reusing the old router.

Not ideal.

If there's anything else I can do for you on this, just let me know.

Thanks.
